Nestled on the hillside in the grounds of the world-famous Mudbrick Vineyard and Restaurant are two charming little cottages designed especially to capture the essence of an island escape away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Olive cottage, named for it’s olive tree surroundings, is full of character and old world charm with rustic touches of history and romance. Merlot Cottage boasts views of vines and the water out to Rangitoto Island. Both are secluded and private, delightfully rural yet just 2 minutes’ drive to Waiheke’s main village, Oneroa.

Dinner is available a short stroll away in the Mudbrick Dining room where you can eat, drink, relax, chat and enjoy loved ones. At the end of the evening, wander down a winding pathway and hop into your own private spa pool—and revel in spending the night at a location that rivals the best, worldwide.

Breakfast is included in the relaxed, casual Archive Bar or in upmarket, refined Mudbrick Dining Room. This is an idyllic fantasy escape, perfect for a special birthday or a romantic getaway.

Day 1 | Depart Heletranz Heliport and enjoy a spectacular scenic helicopter flight viewing the crater of Rangitoto Island, fly past Motutapu Island before landing at Mudbrick Vineyard & Restaurant, your Cottage destination.

Your Overnight Stay includes:

One night’s accommodation in the beautiful Olive or Merlot Cottage; a bottle of bubbles on arrival; a 3-course dinner in The Archive or Mudbrick Dining Room (subject to availability); and a hot breakfast.

Day 2 | After breakfast and check out, a vehicle transfer from Mudbrick Cottages to Matiatia Wharf to catch the Fullers ferry back to downtown Auckland (included).

Optional Extras:

At an additional cost, fly by helicopter back from Waiheke Island ex the local airfield or stay a 2nd night.
