Depart Heletranz heliport on a scenic helicopter flight heading North West over the luxury mansions of Coatesville, to land the heart of Auckland’s wine country on the grounds of the Hunting Lodge at Waimauku.

Learn about the grapes and wines produced and bottled at this vineyard with a wine-tasting of the Hunting Lodge’s five wines in the stunning Cellar Door. Then relax at the Lawn Bar with a shared platter offering a selection of locally sourced produce and finish with Vix’s Sweet Treats.

Your helicopter will wait on the ground for approximately 90 minutes before you re-board for your scenic flight to head west. Soaring past the Waitakere Ranges towards Bethell’s Beach you’ll follow the coast south to Piha for an unforgettable bird’s eye view of the famous, surf-pounded black sand beaches, volcanic cliffs, rocks and caves of the rugged West Coast.

Leave primordial New Zealand behind as you approach the outer Auckland suburbs, where spectacular views of Auckland Domain, Viaduct Harbour and the Sky Tower awaits. Your flight then tracks across the Waitemata Harbour with views of Devonport and North Head before heading back to the Heletranz Heliport in Albany.
