The Lost World Abseil

Leave Auckland behind as you depart Heletranz Heliport in Albany and head south over rural Waikato countryside to land at Waitomo.

On arrival at Waitomo Caves – experience four hours of action adventure. – a spectacular 100m abseil (rappel) and DRY caving adventure.  This trip is surprisingly gentle! Abseil the massive hole and after a 20 minute descent, embark on a journey back to the surface through the spectacular vaults of the Lost World.

Afterwards, perhaps stop off at The Huhu Café for a well-earned late lunch or afternoon tea (optional, paid direct). Huhu Café is open from 12noon, but hours vary over Winter months.
Your helicopter will wait for you to re-emerge ready for the flight back to Auckland.
