The Hauraki Gulf and the neighboring islands are home to some of the world’s finest fishing grounds. The sub-tidal reefs along the North-East Coastline and Great Barrier provide a rich and diverse marine habitat that supports a wide array of fish species, including Snapper, Kahawai, and Kingfish.

Departing from our Heliport in Albany, Auckland, head towards carefully selected fishing locations. The journey includes a scenic flight over the Hauraki Gulf islands, offering a bird’s eye view of the stunning landscapes, often granting glimpses of dolphins, whales, and stingrays.

On landing, both the helicopter and our experienced pilot will stay and serve as your guide throughout the trip. Whether you are a seasoned angler or a complete novice, the pilot will be there to assist, allowing you to fully enjoy reeling in the catch of the day.

Included are the necessary fishing equipment, including high-quality spinning reels, 10ft graphite rods, tackle, and bait. Bottled water and a hearty fisherman’s lunch are part of the package, although you are welcome to bring a few of your own beverages if you desire.

After four hours of immersive fishing, we’ll cap-off the adventure and fly back across the same breathtaking scenery to our base at Heletranz, your full bounty in tow. The entire trip typically takes around 5-6 hours.
